Volunteer Days
Volunteer Days
There is something ancient and steadying about working soil together.
At Sunny Joy Farm, volunteer days are not just about getting projects done (though we do get a lot done). They are about remembering that land stewardship is communal. That food tastes better when shared. That connection grows more easily when our hands are busy.
These gatherings are open to the wider community. No special skills required — just a willingness to show up, lend a hand, and be part of something growing.
We’ll work side by side for a few hours, then gather for simple food and conversation. Soup simmers. Stories unfold. The farm breathes a little easier.

Volunteer days support the broader ecosystem of Sunny Joy Farm — from regenerative growing to youth mentorship through the Resilient Youth Internship Program. When you come, you are not just helping move compost. You are investing in soil health, community resilience, and meaningful pathways for young people to belong and contribute.
If you feel called, come join us.
The land always responds to collective care.
