Some botanical prints come out like a watercolor painting, while others are crisp and detailed. This dress presents itself like a watercolor painting of my garden that particular day. Mirror printed with coreopsis, cosmos, and crocosmia, the bright blues and greens were a delightful surprise.

This sleeveless dress is made of durable 100% combed cotton jersey (5.3 oz/sq yd) and sewn with care in the U.S.A. It features a double needle stitched neckline and hems. The length is between ankle and calf depending on your height. You’ll love the convenience of the two sturdy patch pockets. This is an extremely comfortable and practical loose fitting dress that softens but doesn’t deteriorate with age.

My botanically printed garments go through more than 11 processes from start to finish. I grow many of the flowers and plants that I use. The fabric preparation process takes 3 to 6 steps and then there is the printing itself. The prints are the actual pigments from the plants, not a reproduction as in Screen Printing. Each item is truly one of a kind and cannot be duplicated.

Botanically printed garments hold up best if you hand wash them and hang them to dry, however machine washing on a gentle cycle in cool water is fine too.
