This luxurious beanie is sweet and small. It’s great for someone with a small head who likes their beanie snug or it would be suitable for a child. It is knit up with 50% Angora Rabbit Fiber from my own rabbitry and 50% Fine Merino Wool with a pattern I invented myself. I just love the textured seed stitch. After knitting it, I dyed it with Echinodontium Tinctorium mushroom to an intriguing sage green.

The nature of natural dyes is that they shift in different light contexts. You’ll notice in the photos that it looks different in natural light vs artificial light.

This beanie would benefit from hand washing and laying flat to dry. I put mine over a mason jar in a warm place. Use gentle all natural cleansers . Eucalan is the best.
